Founder: The founder of The Institute of Trade and Business leads a Westchester-based vocational training organization dedicated to developing the next generation of skilled IT and electrical professionals. A proud graduate of Iona University, the founder brings over a decade of experience in recruiting, training, hiring, and workforce development within the Telecom and Electrical Trade.
Throughout his career, he has developed, hired and placed thousands of individuals into various level roles across New York City and the Tri-State. His journey began as a Westchester premier athletic coach, mentoring young athletes and instilling the discipline, mindset, and skills needed to succeed both on and off the field. That same passion for mentorship and development carried into the staffing industry, where he supported some of the region’s largest telecom and electrical companies.
Driven by a commitment to technical excellence, the founder established The Institute of Trade and Business to provide hands-on, hire-ready training that equips students with both the practical skills and the confidence needed to thrive in today’s workforce.
Head Instructor – Electrical & Low Voltage Systems: With over 30 years in the electrical and telecom trades, ITB’s Head Instructor is a NYS BPSS-certified educator and seasoned industry professional. His experience spans union and private sectors, where he’s led commercial and residential projects across New York.
His award-winning approach as voted on by his students blends textbook fundamentals with real-world experience. He doesn’t just teach the trades—he transforms individuals to career-ready professionals. Students at ITB benefit from his rare combination of deep trade knowledge and mentorship, ensuring our graduates are truly jobsite-ready.
Professional Development Instructor: With 18 years in the industry serving the fast-paced New York City market, our Professional Development Instructor has managed over 500 electrical apprentices, spearheading interviewing, training, and mentorship. After graduating college, he deferred law school to avoid student debt, instead launching his career at a telecommunications prefabrication firm. His expertise blends business acumen with extensive construction management experience, equipping him to prepare students for life, business, or the pursuit of a trade.
Career and Life Guest Speakers: His partners and guest speakers, who bring extensive corporate experience from the world’s leading financial cities, are excited to share their insights with motivated learners throughout the business segment of the training year. Feeling that high school and college left them ill-equipped for the challenges of the real world, they’ve collaborated to create engaging sessions that bridge these gaps, effectively teaching the essential fundamentals often overlooked by many.
